A sneak peek at Simone Rocha and H&M collaboration  Updated with full lookbook!

H&M has just announced a new collaboration collection, this time with Irish fashion designer Simone Rocha, best known for her baroque, intricate and beautifully crafted creations. Certainly, this is not the first collaboration of H&M with luxury fashion designers. The Swedish fast-fashion company has already teamed up with Johanna Ortiz and Giambattista Valli.

The London-based Simone Rocha considers her community of family, friends and collaborators of utmost importance. Therefore, the fashion designer chose people who surround and inspire her to announce the Simone Rocha x H&M collaboration collection. For example, in the video below, her stylist, friends, and models talk about the collab that will be launched on the 11th of March.

Simone Rocha celebrates her 10th anniversary with H&M

Through this collaboration with H&M, Simone Rochat is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her namesake brand. The romantic fashion designer graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, and Central Saint Martin, London. She has, since, received several awards including the British Womenswear Designer Award. Her collections have a nostalgic Baroque and Victorian feel. But they are styled with an edgy, contemporary twist, always with a nod to her own heritage: Ireland and Hong Kong.

What to expect from the Simone Rocha x H&M collaboration

Romantics at heart, rejoice! That is to say, the collaboration of Simone Rocha with the high-street giant H&M will be dreamy like the collections she presents at London Fashion Week. In other words, expect voluminous silhouettes, feminine dresses with puffy sleeves, tiered skirts, romantic capes and large bows.

The daughter of designer John Rocha is famous for her attention to detail. Therefore, she uses opulent satin, Broderie Anglaise, sequins, pearl and crystal embellishments in her collab with H&M. Additionally; the collection also includes accessories like statement chandelier earrings, crystal-embellished headbands and hair clips, brogues and bags. Moreover, the collaboration with H&M also resulted in pieces for men and children, a first for Simone Rocha.
