Woman crashes Chanel’s runway at PFW but Gigi Hadid saves the show.

Everybody is talking about how the American model Gigi Hadid saved Chanel’s runway show during Paris Fashion Week SS20. But what exactly has happened?

French Comedian and Youtube prankster, Marie Benoliel, AKA Marie S’infiltre, who has 194.000 followers on Instagram, hopped onto the Grand Palais catwalk. She stormed the last moments of Chanel’s runway during Paris Fashion Week SS20, but luckily, Gigi Hadid was there.

The French comedian dressed in a black and white Chanel style suit and hat, deceived the security, jumped on the runway and walked together with the models. Gigi Hadid didn’t think twice, she quickly took the comedian by the arm and conducted her to the backstage, far from the eyes of the selected audience. With her swift action and firm attitude, Gigi Hadid literally saved the Chanel runway.

Who is Marie S’Infiltre?

Before Gigi Hadid saved the day when Marie Benoliel crashed Chanel’s runway show, not many had heard of Marie S’Infiltre.
Marie describes herself as an ‘infiltrator’ and a ‘usurper’. Her YouTube bio reads: ‘Marie infiltrates everywhere, [is an] usurper of all kinds, is encrusted without scruple, to reveal better the COMIC REALITY that is hidden in the news [sic].’

Marie S’Infiltre took to social media afterwards to claim that she’s been infiltrating catwalks all season, but that Chanel was the ultimate challenge.

Her runway prank was met with mixed emotions, especially after she made fun of Gigi Hadid, calling her Chanel’s guard. Many people complained about her being disrespectful and damaging other people’s work. This is the second time this week that the comedian has stormed a show at Paris Fashion Week, previously to Chanel she danced with a model at Etam’s show.

Funny!
